There is a spot available that is 9 x 26' (238.5 sq ft), perfect for 3 to four people to work. There you'd sharing with Derek, Julia and Annie. It is priced at $6.25/sq ft, or $1490 for entire area. (Here are some of our interns, working up front on the ground floor last summer. Great meeting space!)

2nd Floor

Further to that, this is a great place to work. Kensington Market is a really inspiring place to be, has fantastic food for you to grab lunch or groceries on the way home... It's the heart of the city and there's always something interesting going on in the area and at the studio!

2 Days, 2 Events! The NOOK Holiday Spectacular, December 6th & 7th 2013

In just a few days, our studio will be hosting two events at the same time - the Holiday Show & Sock It To 'Em Sale!
Come imbibe - there will be beautiful original artwork and objects, The Kensington Brewing Company will be sponsoring us with some holiday cheer and Julia may concoct a special cocktail or two for the occasion.

Friday December 6th, 7pm

The Holiday Show is here, and we are preparing as I write this! Beautiful original artwork has been coming in for a few days now, and we'll begin hanging it all, starting today.

A Note From Kathryn Chorney

For the Drawing Insects Workshop on Sunday November 17th, I've added some bright-coloured Planthoppers, with their long, upturned snouts; different kinds of Longhorned Beetles, some big colourful Grasshoppers, a couple of delicate Mantises; a Cicada from Thailand with beautifully patterned wings, and bright green Stag Beetles, with their impressive mandibles. They'll be joining the rest of the collection of beetles, butterflies, bees, and even a few spiders, at the workshop next Sunday.

(Other than those collected locally, all the bugs are imported by a Canadian company, and come from certifiably sustainable sources ranging from Thailand to Peru. Just in case you were wondering!)
