Leif Peng: Illustration Cycles - October 26th!

Leif Peng - illustrator, storyboard & concept artist, teacher and creator of the widely read blog, "Today's Inspiration" (a fantastic archive of profiles and interviews of mid-century illustrators and their work) will be speaking here at nook

On Wednesday, October 26th at 7pm, Leif will expound about Illustration as a cyclical process that is repeating itself again in our time. By understanding what a generation of graphic artists who came before us experienced, we can better position ourselves to confront the inevitable challenges.  He will also speak to the impact of changing technology and its affect on the ability of illustrators to earn a living, as well as pricing and changing stylistic trends for illustration over the last 50 years, using the life stories of various illustrators Leif has written about.

Wednesday, October 26th   |   156 Augusta Avenue, Toronto    |    7:00 – 9:00 pm
